Santorini Assyrtiko Grande Réserve by Santo Wines is a dry white wine made from 100% Assyrtiko, with a richer and more complex character that highlights a barrel-aged, mature, and highly gastronomic side of Santorini. It comes from vines around 100 years old and is aged for 12 months in French barriques, gaining greater depth and complexity. On the nose, aromas of ripe citrus, peach, honey, vanilla, spice, dried nuts, and toasted notes stand out, giving the wine intensity and elegance. On the palate, it is full-bodied, with very good structure, vibrant acidity, characteristic salinity, and a long finish, where the oak integrates beautifully with the fruit and minerality. It pairs beautifully with oily fish, white meats in creamy sauces, and richer dishes.
