Genesis Rosé by Kechris Winery is a rosé that beautifully balances the freshness of Xinomavro with the aromatic character of Gewürztraminer. It is made from 85% Xinomavro from a selected vineyard in Goumenissa and 15% Gewürztraminer from mountainous vineyards in Amyndeon, creating a wine with elegance, intensity and very pleasant aromatic clarity.
Vinification begins with a few hours of maceration for the Xinomavro, giving the wine its refined salmon colour and fruity base. It is then vinified together with Gewürztraminer, which adds floral notes, a more exotic character and a gentle aromatic lift.
In the glass, it brings rose, strawberry, cherry and a subtle sweet impression that balances beautifully with the fresh acidity. On the palate, it is elegant, smooth and lively, with a velvety texture and a long, fruity finish.
It pairs very well with seafood pasta, salmon, shrimp, sushi, spicy Asian flavours, fruit salads or simply as a refreshing aperitif. It is a rosé with character, but without difficulty — aromatic, enjoyable and ideal for anyone looking for something more distinctive than the classic summer rosé.
