Cavalieri Xinomavro Nico Lazaridi

Cavalieri Xinomavro by Nico Lazaridi is the sharper and more gastronomic side of the Cavalieri range. Single-varietal, with PDO Naoussa identity, it brings the character of Xinomavro to the glass with elegance, energy and that herbal, slightly strict charm that makes the variety so distinctive.

In the glass it has a pale red colour and reveals ripe red fruit, spicy spices, herbs, tomato leaf and cedar. Ageing in large oak barrels gives it depth and a more complex texture, without fading the freshness, acidity and characteristic energy of Xinomavro.

On the palate it is dry, full-bodied and lively, with high acidity, tannins that give rhythm and a long, spicy finish. Give it a little time in the glass and open it with grilled meats, red meat stews, game, lamb, mushrooms or spicy cheeses. A Xinomavro with structure, intensity and enough finesse to stand at tables with character.
