King of Hearts by Nico Lazaridi is a red wine that gets straight to the point: juicy fruit, soft structure and everyday enjoyment without unnecessary seriousness. Made from Merlot and Xinomavro, it combines the velvety, fruity side of Merlot with the more herbal, energetic imprint of Xinomavro, in a wine that opens easily and fits comfortably at the table.
In the glass it has a medium purple colour and reveals cherry, raspberry, plum, red fruit, hints of tomato and a subtle herbal sensation. Classic red vinification keeps the profile pure and approachable, with the fruit staying in front and the tannins working gently in the background.
On the palate it is dry, soft and pleasantly lively, with silky tannins, refreshing acidity and an aromatic finish that makes it especially food-friendly.
