Vorinos Red Silva Daskalaki Winery

Vorinos Red by Silva Daskalaki Estate is a Cretan red wine with juicy fruit, soft structure and relaxed, everyday charm. Made from Kotsifali and Liatiko, it is rooted in the local varieties of Crete and brings to the glass that Mediterranean, slightly spicy and very food-friendly profile that loves the table.

On the nose it has red berries, black cherry, plum, Mediterranean herbs, spices and a subtle sensation of vanilla. Vinification keeps the wine round and balanced, with Kotsifali giving intensity and warmth, and Liatiko adding finesse, fruit and a lighter flow.

On the palate it is dry, generous and pleasant, with medium body, soft tannins and a fruity, spicy finish. It pairs perfectly with cold cuts, poultry, pasta with red sauce, smoked cheeses, grilled meats or a nice pastitsio. A red wine that does not need much in order to have a good time, just a glass and something tasty next to it.
