Liastos Silva Daskalaki Winery

Liastos by Silva Daskalaki Estate is a sweet red wine from Liatiko that brings to the glass the fullest, sun-kissed and velvety side of Crete. The grapes are sun-dried before vinification, naturally concentrating the fruit, sugars and aromas, while ageing in oak barrels gives it depth, sweetness and a more complex character.

In the glass it has a deep tawny colour and reveals raisin, caramel, coffee beans, chocolate, dried fruit and sweet spices. On the palate it is sweet, rich and smooth, but its acidity keeps the balance and does not allow it to become heavy.

Open it chilled at the end of the meal and place next to it chocolate creations, caramel tart, nut-based desserts, aged cheeses or enjoy it on its own as dessert in the glass. A sun-dried wine for slow sips, good conversations and a finish with Cretan depth.
