Scaperdas Frères Hommage Brut Rosé Kir-Yianni Domaine

Scaperdas Frères Hommage Brut Rosé by Kir-Yianni Estate is a sparkling rosé from Xinomavro that brings together the freshness of Amyndeon, the finesse of the traditional method and the more gastronomic side of the variety. It comes from the PDO Amyndeon zone in Florina, an area where the cool climate, altitude and lakes help Xinomavro keep high acidity, clean fruit and natural intensity.
In the glass, it has a pale salmon color and fine, lively bubbles. The nose moves between strawberry, sweet tomato, apricot, bergamot and rose loukoumi, with more complex notes of dough, brioche and hazelnut coming from the traditional method. On the palate, it is elegant, refreshing and full of energy, with creamy foam, clean acidity and a finish that leaves fruit, freshness and a subtle sense of complexity.
The traditional method of winemaking gives the wine greater precision, finer bubbles and a more polished texture. Xinomavro, on the other hand, keeps the character alive: it brings energy, structure and that distinctive savory-earthy signature that prevents the wine from staying only on fruit. It is a sparkling wine with style, but also with real presence at the table.
The name Scaperdas Frères Hommage also gives it its historical dimension, connecting the Boutaris family with a Parisian reference from the early 20th century. In practice, though, what remains is a Greek sparkling rosé with character, finesse and a beautiful balance between the joy of bubbles and the seriousness of Xinomavro. It pairs excellently with shellfish, sushi, oily fish, smoked salmon, pink meats, mushrooms, soft cheeses and more special appetizers.
