Pyritis Mega Cuvée Double Magnum Artemis Karamolegos Winery

Pyritis Mega Cuvée Double Magnum by Artemis Karamolegos Winery is the grande version of one of the most imposing Assyrtiko wines of Santorini. It comes from selected old vineyards in Pyrgos and Megalochori, with old vines that give the wine concentration, salinity and pure volcanic depth.

Vinification remains discreet, allowing the place and Assyrtiko to come forward. Ageing on the lees gives volume, texture and complexity, while the large Double Magnum bottle gives it an even more impressive presence and excellent potential to evolve over time.

In the glass it reveals ripe stone fruit, lemon, grapefruit, flint, wet stone and intense minerality. On the palate it is rich, salty and electric, with sharp acidity, power and a long finish. A wine for large gatherings, collectible moments and pairings with oily fish, shellfish, lobster, shrimps, salmon carpaccio or seafood pasta.
