Nemea Réserve Magnum Dryopi Estate
Driopi Nemea Reserve Magnum is a dry red PDO Nemea wine made from 100% Agiorgitiko, presented in a 1.5-litre Magnum bottle. It comes from old vines in Koutsi, Nemea, at an altitude of approximately 380 metres, where the clay-limestone soils and steep vineyard slopes contribute to the wine’s concentration and structure.
Vinification includes a long 25-day maceration under controlled temperatures. This is followed by 12 months of maturation in French oak barrels, 70% new and 30% second-use, followed by further bottle ageing.
The nose reveals complex aromas of ripe red fruits, together with distinctive notes of eucalyptus, herbs and spices. On the palate, it is rich and fleshy, with a full texture, ripe and soft tannins and a velvety, persistent finish.
The Magnum format is an excellent choice for larger gatherings, special occasions and ageing. It pairs ideally with T-bone steak, beef and other grilled red meats, rooster cooked in wine, lamb and mature cheeses.
