Mystirio Magnum Artemis Karamolegos Winery

Mystirio Magnum by Artemis Karamolegos Winery is the large-format bottle of one of the most distinctive and unconventional Assyrtiko wines of Santorini. It comes from a unique vineyard site in Pyrgos, with century-old vines, and shows a deeper, gastronomic and almost handcrafted side of the island.

Skin contact gives it extra texture, structure and that spicier, herbal character that sets it apart from classic Assyrtiko wines. Ageing on the lees adds volume and complexity, while the magnum bottle gives it an even more premium presence and better evolution over time.

In the glass it reveals pear, bergamot, chamomile, peppermint, black tea, cardamom, coriander and intense minerality. On the palate it is full-bodied, salty and complex, with fine tannins, vibrant acidity and a long, spicy finish. It calls for food with character: fish soup, spicy dishes, sweet-and-sour flavours, white meats, Asian cuisine or creative seafood pairings.
