Blue Tractor Rosé by Kir-Yianni Estate is a rosé wine that goes straight to the point: fruit, freshness and relaxed enjoyment without feeling plain. It is made from Merlot and classified as PGI Macedonia, with a character that moves between juicy red fruit and the fresh, crisp feel you want from a well-made rosé.
In the glass, it has a bright salmon color and an aromatic profile that brings to mind ripe strawberry, red fruits, soft flowers and a subtle herbal note that adds a little extra interest. On the palate, it is full enough, refreshing and well balanced, with vibrant acidity and a clean finish that makes it very easy to enjoy, especially when served nicely chilled.
The winemaking keeps the wine fresh and direct. The grapes are hand-harvested, go through strict sorting and fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. Contact with the fine lees for 3 months, with gentle stirring, gives better texture and a more integrated palate, without losing the fruity intensity.
The name Blue Tractor also carries a more human story from Kir-Yianni Estate, inspired by the old blue tractor linked with the first plantings and the everyday work in the vineyard. In practice, the wine is exactly what its image promises: approachable, lively and made to fit easily at the table. It pairs well with salads, grilled vegetables, pizzas, pasta with red or rosé sauces, chicken, charcuterie platters and relaxed Mediterranean appetizers.
