Mavro Provato Rosé Nico Lazaridi

Black Sheep Rosé by Nico Lazaridi is a rosé with energy, fruit and a slightly rebellious mood, exactly as its name promises. Made from Xinomavro and Syrah, with grapes from Pangaio and Naousa, it stands between freshness, aromatic intensity and a juicier, more modern approach that makes it immediately enjoyable in the glass.

In the glass it has a pale rosé colour and reveals strawberry, citrus fruit, herbal notes and a distinctive hint of tomato leaf. Early harvest keeps the acidity alive, while Syrah gives a little extra volume and fruity intensity, without making the wine heavy.

On the palate it is medium-dry, refreshing and well-balanced, with fresh fruit, pleasant acidity and a light finish that easily pulls you into the next sip. Bring it out with tomato salad, vegetable stews, pizza, chicken with herbs, pasta with red sauce, Mediterranean small plates or seasonal fruit.
