Malagousia Dryos Hatzimichalis Estate

Malagousia Dryos by Domaine Hatzimichalis is a more gastronomic expression of Malagousia, keeping the aromatic character of the variety while giving it a little more structure and balance. It comes from selected sub-mountainous vineyards in Atalanti Valley, an area that helps the wine keep freshness and purity.

Vinification takes place under controlled temperature, while part of the wine ferments in wood. This contact with oak is not there to cover Malagousia, but to soften the intensity of the aromas, give a fuller feel on the palate and make it even more suitable for food.

In the glass, it brings white flowers, citrus, peach, orange leaves, lemon zest, lime, grapefruit and subtle notes of melon. On the palate, it is fresh, aromatic and balanced, with pleasant acidity, elegant texture and a clean finish.

It pairs very well with seafood, fish, chicken, grilled vegetables, white sauces, risotto, pasta with lemon or herbs, pies, fresh cheeses and dishes with Mediterranean herbs. It is a Malagousia with a more serious food character, without losing its immediacy and freshness.
