Gramina Vassaltis Vineyards

Vassaltis Gramina 2019 is a dry white wine made from 100% Assyrtiko, with an intense, complex, and highly expressive character. It comes from a single vineyard in Santorini and stands out for its concentration and structure. On the nose, it shows aromas of ripe citrus, stone fruits, flowers, smoky elements, and saline notes that clearly reflect the island’s volcanic terroir. On the palate, it is full-bodied, with high acidity, rich texture, and pronounced minerality, while the extended ageing on lees and in bottle adds depth and complexity. The finish is long, clean, and saline, giving it a strongly gastronomic profile. It pairs beautifully with grilled fish, shellfish, seafood, white meats, and dishes with more complex sauces.
