Ftelos Single Vineyard by Artemis Karamolegos Winery is one of the purest and most impressive faces of Santorini Assyrtiko. It comes from a unique vineyard site in Fira, with vines around 150 years old facing the caldera, giving a wine with intensity, depth and that salty energy that makes Santorini so distinctive.
Vinification keeps the wine’s profile pure and authentic, while long ageing on the lees gives it volume, complexity and a fuller texture, without losing its nervy freshness. In the glass it reveals apricot, pink grapefruit, lemon, hints of seaweed, flint and a subtle sensation of roasted nuts.
On the palate it is elegant, juicy and crystalline, with sharp acidity, intense salinity and an impressively long finish.
