Château Porto Carras Bio by Domaine Porto Carras is one of Greece’s most historic red labels, with seriousness, depth and a clear Slopes of Meliton identity. It brings together Limnio with Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Merlot, combining the Greek earthy character with the structure of international varieties.
The vinification follows a classic red-wine approach, aiming for clean fruit expression, balanced extraction and the creation of a wine that can evolve beautifully over time. Long ageing in French oak barrels gives it depth, a more complex texture and aromas that go beyond fruit, opening into spices, smoke and earthy notes.
In the glass, it shows cherry, plum, blackberry and sour cherry, together with vanilla, cinnamon, cedar, smoke, black tea and coffee. On the palate, it is full but not excessive, with well-worked tannins, balanced acidity and a long finish that leaves the impression of a mature, classic red wine with character.
