Cavalieri Malagousia by Nico Lazaridi is the most aromatic, elegant and casually premium side of Malagousia from Drama. Single-varietal, pure and bright, it shows the variety without exaggeration: floral, fruity, refreshing, but with enough texture not to remain simply easy and aromatic.
On the nose it opens with floral and herbal notes, together with stone fruit and citrus fruit. Fermentation in stainless steel tanks at low temperatures keeps the fruit pure and lively, while contact with the lees gives more aromatic complexity and a fuller sensation on the palate.
On the palate it is dry, refreshing and balanced, with medium body, pleasant acidity and a long aromatic finish. Open it with green salads, dishes with herbs, seafood, chicken, white cheeses, pasta with vegetables or slightly spicy flavours. A Malagousia with aroma, finesse and that easy style that makes the glass empty without much thought.
