The Apla White Oenops Wines is a dry white wine that does exactly what its name promises: it keeps things simple, clean and enjoyable. Malagousia brings its aromatic profile with notes of white flowers, peach and tropical fruit, Assyrtiko adds tension, freshness and a mineral feel, while Vidiano contributes volume, texture and a riper Mediterranean side.Oenops Wines by Nikos Karatzas, based in Drama, works with Greek varieties and collaborating growers from different regions of Greece, focusing on the pure expression of the grape. In Apla White, each variety is vinified separately, with careful sorting, gentle pressing and fermentation in stainless steel tanks and amphorae, in order to preserve freshness, fruit and detail.
In the glass, it is bright, fresh and direct, with aromas of citrus fruit, stone fruit and subtle floral hints. On the palate, it has lively acidity, medium body and a balanced fruity finish, making it ideal for the everyday table as well as relaxed moments with friends. It is easy to enjoy on its own, but also pairs beautifully with fish, seafood, salads, white meats, sushi and dishes with lemony or lightly spicy notes.
