Apla White Magnum Oenops Wines

The Apla White Magnum Oenops Wines is the 1.5L large-format bottle of Apla White, a dry white wine based on three Greek varieties that work beautifully together: Malagousia, Assyrtiko and Vidiano. Malagousia brings the aromatic, floral and fruity side, Assyrtiko adds freshness and tension, while Vidiano contributes volume and a more Mediterranean texture.
Oenops Wines by Nikos Karatzas, based in Drama, works with indigenous Greek varieties and selected growers from different regions, aiming for wines that are pure, vibrant and free from unnecessary oak weight. In Apla White, the different vineyard plots are vinified separately, with fermentation in stainless steel tanks and amphorae, while ageing on the fine lees for a few months gives extra texture without hiding the wine’s freshness.
In the glass, it is bright, fresh and direct, with aromas of citrus fruit, peach, apricot, white flowers and a subtle herbal note. On the palate, it has pure fruit, lively acidity and a pleasant fruity finish, making it ideal for tables that start early and end late. The Magnum bottle makes it an even better choice for sharing, festive meals or professional gatherings, while keeping its relaxed and easygoing character.
It pairs beautifully with fish, seafood, prawns, sushi, salads, white meats, chicken, grilled vegetables and Asian flavours with mild spicy intensity.
