Plano Malagousia by Wine Art Estate is a Malagousia with freshness, aromatic intensity and lovely balance, made to show the expressive character of the variety without becoming excessive. It comes from Drama, a region that has built a strong reputation for elegant and clean white wines, with Wine Art Estate working to highlight the pure expression of the fruit and the local microclimate.
During vinification, pre-fermentation cold maceration is applied, allowing the aromas of Malagousia to pass more vividly into the must. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks and the wine remains on its fine lees for about one month, gaining a fuller texture and better cohesion, without losing its freshness.
In the glass, it has a pale lemon colour with greenish highlights and aromas that move between citrus fruit, unripe peach, night-blooming jasmine, Mediterranean herbs, freshly cut grass, fennel and mint. On the palate, it is fresh, with medium body, pleasant acidity and a lightly green, herbal touch that gives it character.
It is a white wine that is easy to enjoy, but also has enough depth to stand properly at the table. Try it with Greek pies, stuffed vine leaves, avgolemono dishes, green salads, vegetables, pasta with pesto or light Mediterranean dishes.
