Vinsanto Artemis Karamolegos Winery

Vinsanto by Artemis Karamolegos Winery is the sweet, deep and utterly captivating side of Santorini. Made from Assyrtiko and Aidani, from selected old vines of the island, it carries all the power of the sun, salinity and volcanic soil in a small, golden sip.

The grapes are sun-dried under the hot Santorini sun, concentrating sugars, acidity and aromas, while long ageing in old French oak barrels gives the wine depth, intensity and incredible complexity. In the glass it reveals dried fruit, caramel, coffee, chocolate, nuts and a fine oxidative sensation that makes it instantly recognisable.

On the palate it is sweet, rich and velvety, but the sharp acidity of Assyrtiko keeps it lively and never heavy. The finish lingers for a long time, full of honey, caramel and nuts. Enjoy it chilled, next to baklava, crème brûlée, chocolate desserts, halva or aged cheeses. It is the wine that closes a meal with style.
