Rosé Demi-Sec Boutari Winery
€8,50
Boutari Wineries’ Rosé Demi-Sec is a semi-dry rosé wine from Macedonia, made from Xinomavro, Syrah and Merlot. It is the rosé that wants to be refreshing, aromatic and a little more playful, without becoming heavy or overly sweet. It has that soft, pleasant side that makes it very easy in the glass, while still keeping the freshness needed so it does not become tiring.
In the winemaking process, the grapes are destemmed and the grape mass is immediately cooled to 7-10°C, in order to preserve the fresh aromas and control extraction with precision. The must stays in contact with the skins for only 3 hours, enough to give the lively rosé colour and aromatic character, without allowing any harsh elements to pass into the wine. Fermentation continues at 14°C and is then stopped through cooling, leaving natural residual sugars that give the wine its semi-dry, sweet sensation.
In the glass, it has a lively reddish colour and an expressive nose with sweet red fruit, tomato leaves and mint. On the palate, it is soft and full, with balanced acidity that gives it energy and keeps it fresh through the finish. It is a rosé with clear extroversion, ideal for those who want something more aromatic and immediate, but not flat.
The renewed look of Boutari’s rosé labels follows a more modern and everyday approach, with easy opening and a character that fits relaxed occasions, from aperitivo moments to spicy dishes. Best served at 7-10°C, it pairs beautifully with fruit, light desserts, Asian cuisine, spicy flavours or simply a well-set table with friends.
