Dreamcatcher Rosé by Chateau Kaniaris is a dry rosé wine PGI Geraneia, made from 100% Syrah, with a fruity character, clean aromatic expression and fresh balance. It comes from a privately owned vineyard at the foothills of the Geraneia Mountains, at an altitude of around 330 metres, with a Mediterranean climate, sea breezes and sandy-clay soil with a limestone base.
Vinification is carried out with cold maceration for 4 hours at 7°C and fermentation at 16-17°C, in order to preserve the fresh fruit, the soft colour and the aromatic clarity of Syrah. The result is a rosé with beautiful intensity, without becoming heavy, ideal for the everyday table but also for more relaxed moments.
In the glass, it brings wild strawberry, pomegranate, redcurrant, red fruit and a subtle floral feel. On the palate, it is fresh, juicy and balanced, with pleasant acidity, clean flavour and a fruity finish.
It pairs very well with white meats, pasta with light sauces, salads, seafood, shrimps, pizza, Mediterranean starters and fresh cheeses. It is a Syrah rosé that is easy to enjoy on its own, but also has enough flavour to stand beautifully next to food.
