Nemea Réserve Double Magnum Dryopi Estate
Driopi Nemea Reserve Double Magnum is a dry red PDO Nemea wine made from 100% Agiorgitiko, presented in an impressive 3-litre Double Magnum bottle. It comes from old vines in the Dourmiza area of Koutsi, Nemea, at an altitude of approximately 380 metres, where the clay-limestone soils and steep vineyard slopes contribute to the wine’s concentration and structure.
Vinification includes a long 25-day maceration under controlled temperatures. This is followed by 12 months of maturation in French oak barrels, 70% new and 30% second-use, and a further 6 months of bottle ageing.
The nose reveals complex aromas of ripe red fruits, accompanied by distinctive notes of eucalyptus and herbs. On the palate, it is rich and fleshy, with a full, creamy texture, ripe and soft tannins and a velvety, persistent finish.
The Double Magnum format is an excellent choice for larger gatherings, special occasions, corporate gifts and ageing. It pairs ideally with T-bone steak, beef and other grilled red meats, rooster cooked in wine, lamb and mature cheeses.
