Mavra Nera Semi-Sweet Rosé by Passas Winery blends the crisp acidity of local Mavroudi with the rich, fruity character of Syrah.
The varieties undergo separate pre-fermentation cold maceration before blending. Fermentation takes place in stainless-steel tanks, followed by ageing on the lees for extra texture and complexity.
Aromas of cherry and raspberry meet hints of butterscotch and red fruit jam. Sweet yet fresh on the palate, it balances its fruity richness with lively acidity and finishes smooth and pleasantly refreshing.
Serve at 10–12°C with sweet-and-sour dishes, tarts, fresh cheeses with jam, fruit or desserts.
