Mavroudi Red by Passas Winery captures the distinctive character of Thracian Mavroudi. It is produced from selected grapes grown in the family winery’s oldest vineyards in Stavrochori, Xanthi, near the Nestos Valley and the foothills of the Rhodope Mountains.
Ageing in oak barrels softens the tannins and adds depth, complementing the wine’s ripe red and dark fruit, spicy character and subtle oak notes. Full-bodied yet balanced, it finishes long and smooth.
Serve at 16–18°C with red meat, slow-cooked dishes, mushrooms or mature cheeses.
