Laoudia Kanava Chrysou – Tselepos

Laoudia Canava Chryssou – Tselepos is a dry white wine made from 100% Assyrtiko, expressing in a distinctive way both the typicity of the variety and the character of Santorini’s terroir. Vinification in amphorae and ageing on fine lees for about 4 months, followed by at least 10 months of bottle maturation, give the wine greater depth and complexity. On the nose, aromas of ripe and sometimes candied citrus, sweet floral notes, refreshing herbal hints, honeycomb, and the characteristic impression of flint stand out. On the palate, it is balanced, full, and exceptionally well structured, with a persistent iodine-like finish that highlights its unique origin. It pairs ideally with oily fish, shellfish, and meats with white sauces.
