Grifos White Silva Daskalaki Winery

Grifos White by Silva Daskalaki Estate is a Vidiano with a more natural, earthy and effortlessly distinctive personality. It does not try to be the classic fresh white wine that simply refreshes; it has texture, depth and that slightly wilder element that makes the glass more interesting.

Fermentation in amphorae with indigenous yeasts allows the variety to express itself more freely, while ageing in the clay vessel gives the wine a fuller sensation and gastronomic character. In the glass it reveals peach, apricot, tropical fruit, citrus fruit, white flowers and herbal hints.

On the palate it is dry, rich and lively, with very good acidity, a more natural texture and a finish that lingers. It pairs beautifully with large grilled fish, pies, roasted poultry, oven-baked vegetables, dishes with herbs and rich cheeses.
