Genesis White by Kechris Winery is a fresh, modern white wine that combines the intensity of Sauvignon Blanc with the softer, more Mediterranean side of Roditis. The Sauvignon Blanc comes from Kavala, while the Roditis comes from Goumenissa, creating a blend with aromatic clarity, energy and pleasant balance.
The two varieties are harvested and vinified separately, so that each one keeps its own character. Pre-fermentation maceration and fermentation in stainless steel tanks help the wine bring out intense fruity aromas, freshness and clarity in the glass.
On the nose, you will find tropical fruit, green freshness, pear, melon and a more Mediterranean fruity feel from the Roditis. On the palate, it is fresh, balanced and easy-drinking without being flat, with good aromatic length and a clean finish.
It pairs beautifully with green salads, seafood, grilled or steamed fish, chicken, turkey, manouri cheese and fresh goat cheeses. A white wine that opens easily at the everyday table, but has enough character to stand next to a more thoughtful pairing.
