It is a rich and elegantly structured wine that highlights the serious, dry side of Mavrodaphne, with aromas of black cherry, plum, sour cherry, spices, licorice and subtle vanilla notes from oak ageing. On the palate it is full-bodied, balanced and velvety, with ripe tannins, intensity and a long finish.
