Château White by Nico Lazaridi is one of those white wines that beautifully shows the more aromatic and elegant side of Drama. The blend combines Sauvignon Blanc, Assyrtiko and Malagousia, bringing exotic fruit, energy and floral finesse into the same glass, without becoming loud or excessive.
In the glass it has a bright yellow colour and reveals mango, papaya, pineapple, citrus fruit, lemongrass, white flowers and a subtle sensation of flint. Vinification at low temperatures and short ageing on the fine lees keep the wine pure, aromatic and lively, with lovely texture and refreshing intensity.
On the palate it is dry, full-bodied and refreshing, with crisp acidity and a long, aromatic finish. Open it with salads with goat cheese, pasta with basil pesto, grilled vegetables, fish, seafood, chicken with herbs or light Asian dishes.
