Château Julia Chardonnay by Domain Costa Lazaridi is a white wine from Drama that shows Chardonnay in a pure, bright and fruity version, without a heavy mood. Domain Costa Lazaridi has built a large part of its reputation on international varieties, but here it handles them in a way that is refreshing, elegant and completely friendly in the glass.
In the glass it has a bright straw-yellow colour with green highlights and reveals jasmine, pineapple, banana, green apple and citrus fruit. Vinification in stainless steel tanks keeps the fruit pure and lively, highlighting the aromatic side of the variety without weighing it down.
On the palate it is dry, refreshing and balanced, with good structure, fruity intensity and a persistent finish. Open it with shellfish, fish with herbs, light white sauces, lemon chicken or semi-hard cheeses.
