Atlantis by Estate Argyros is the white wine that puts Santorini in a more easy-going, everyday yet always elegant mood. Based mainly on Assyrtiko, with a small contribution from Aidani and Athiri, it brings to the glass lemon, lemon blossom, green apple, subtle exotic fruit and a clean mineral sensation that recalls the volcanic landscape of the island.
Vinification takes place in stainless steel tanks, keeping the wine fresh, bright and full of energy. Assyrtiko gives acidity and structure, while Aidani and Athiri soften the edges and add a slightly more aromatic, fruity mood.
On the palate it is dry, refreshing and direct, with crisp acidity, light body and a pleasant, lemony finish. A white wine that is easy to drink, but has a clear Santorini identity. Put it next to fish, seafood, lemony pasta, chicken, salads or Greek small plates and you instantly have an island feeling on the table.
