Natural Red Wine Bio Anatolikos Vineyards is a distinctive organic red wine from Avdira, Thrace, which authentically expresses the philosophy of natural winemaking and the unique character of the coastal terroir of the region. It is produced from 60% Mavroudi and 40% Limnio, is dry in style, and belongs to the winery’s natural wine range.
In the glass, it shows a deep purple color, while on the nose intense and complex aromas of ripe red and black forest fruits, cedar, sweet spices, dried plum, and pine honey stand out, together with floral, earthy, and subtly leathery notes. On the palate, it is full, rich, and complex, with dense tannins, dynamic acidity, abundant fruit, and a long, exuberant finish.
Natural Red Wine Bio Anatolikos Vineyards is vinified with long fermentation in amphora with indigenous yeasts, with manual treading of the grape skins, and matures in the amphora together with the skins for 270 days without sulphites. It undergoes no processing and is not filtered before bottling, elements that enhance its natural and authentic character. It pairs beautifully with red meats, game, mushroom dishes, aged cheeses, and generally dishes with intensity and depth of flavor.
