Fine Mavroudi Magnum Anatolikos Vineyards is an expressive organic red wine in a Magnum 1.5L bottle from Avdira, Thrace, which authentically highlights the dynamic character of the Mavroudi variety and the unique identity of the Thracian terroir. The label is released as M Fine Mavroudi Magnum Bio 2022 – 1500ml and is the Magnum version of the estate’s Fine Mavroudi.
It is produced from 100% Mavroudi, is dry in style, PGI Avdira, and matures on the fine lees for 18 months in French oak barrels. It is not filtered and undergoes no treatment before bottling, preserving its authentic and unpretentious character.
In the glass, it displays a bright deep purple color, while on the nose complex aromas of ripe red and black fruits, cedar, dried plum, and fig stand out, together with notes of pine honey, coffee, cocoa, roasted almond, and spices. On the palate, it is rich, complex, and balanced, with gentle tannins, balanced acidity, plenty of fruit, and a long, exuberant finish. It is best served at 16-18°C and its alcoholic strength is 14.5% vol.
