Vre Chatzivaritis Estate

Vre Malagouzia by Chatzivaritis Estate is a white wine that leans into the natural side of Malagouzia, without losing the freshness and immediate charm of the variety.
It comes from an organic vineyard in Goumenissa, an area that Chatzivaritis Estate has linked with low-intervention wines and a freer form of expression. The winemaking takes place with spontaneous fermentation in stainless steel tanks, without clarification or filtration, while 4 months on the lees give it volume, texture and a more savoury, rounded feel on the palate.
In the glass, it has a pale yellow colour with a light haze, a result of its natural production process. Aromatically, it moves between citron, peach, apricot, pineapple, citrus peel, basil and small white flowers. On the palate, it is juicy and expressive, with crisp acidity, a slightly oily texture and a long, fruity finish with a subtle mineral touch.
It is ideal for anyone looking for a Malagouzia that feels a little more alive, more natural and more food-friendly than usual. It works beautifully with salads, vegetable risotto, tarts with goat cheese, seafood, dishes with aromatic herbs or simply as a delicious aperitif.
