Gerovassiliou Red Magnum by Gerovassiliou Estate is a PGI Epanomi dry red wine made from Syrah, Merlot and Limnio, presented in a 1.5-liter bottle. It has a rich and balanced character, with aromas of ripe dark fruit, plum, cherry, spices and subtle oak. Ageing for about one year in French oak barrels gives it structure, depth and a more complex feel. On the palate it is full-bodied, softly tannic and persistent, with fruit, intensity and a spicy finish. The magnum bottle makes it ideal for more special dining occasions, alongside pork, grilled red meats, oven-roasted poultry, game with red sauces and mature cheeses.
