Magic Mountain Red by Nico Lazaridi is one of those wines that have written their own history in Greek red wine. A deep, generous and cosmopolitan blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc, bringing the logic of a great Bordeaux blend to Drama, but with a clearly personal identity. In the glass it has a deep red colour and reveals ripe red and black fruit, violet, coffee, dark chocolate, spices, cedar and subtle smoke. Long ageing in new oak barrels and additional evolution in the bottle give it density, depth and complex texture, without losing the balance between fruit, tannins and acidity.
On the palate it is dry, full-bodied and noble, with round tannins, aromatic richness and a long finish that leaves fruit, chocolate and spices.
