Omen by Lalikos Vineyards is an expressive dry white wine from Lalikos Mountain Vineyards, originating from Kavala and classified as PGI Kavala. It is produced from 100% Sauvignon Blanc and is a more complex and age-worthy expression of the variety, with fermentation and maturation for 8 months in large French oak barrels with parallel batonnage, followed by 12 months of bottle aging before it is released to the market.
In the glass, it shows a bright white-yellow color, while on the nose aromas stand out that combine the freshness of Sauvignon Blanc with riper and more complex notes from its stay in barrel and bottle. On the palate, it is rich, balanced, and layered, with structure, freshness, and a long finish that supports its aging ability and gastronomic character.
