Idylle d’Achinos Imperial by La Tour Melas is the 6L version of one of Greece’s most loved rosé wines — a bottle that does not go unnoticed and is made for large dinners, events, gifts with a wow factor and moments that call for something truly impressive.
It is made from Grenache Noir, Syrah and Agiorgitiko, inspired by Provence but with a clear Greek signature from Achinos, Fthiotida. Cold fermentation and ageing on fine lees for 4 months give the wine more texture, balance and length, while keeping its freshness and crisp profile.
In the glass, it has a pale pink-peach colour and brings strawberry, cherry, red fruit, citrus, orange, flowers and a subtle mineral feel. On the palate, it is fresh, elegant and fruity, with pleasant acidity and a clean finish that lingers beautifully.
The Imperial bottle makes it ideal for large-scale sharing, without losing the elegance and easy-going mood that define Idylle d’Achinos. It pairs very well with sushi, shrimp, salmon, seafood, summer salads, white meats, Greek vegetable dishes, pizza, pasta with light red sauces, charcuterie and soft cheeses.
