METH’ YMON “L” Limniona Organic Red Wine by Dougos Winery is an expressive organic red wine made from 100% Limniona, dry in style, from Thessaly and more specifically the Rapsani zone. It is a label that elegantly highlights the aromatic and refined character of the variety, with organic cultivation and emphasis on the purity of the fruit.
In the glass, it shows an intense red to medium ruby color, while on the nose aromas of small red fruits, sour cherry, cherry, strawberry, herbal elements, and sweet spices stand out, with subtle smoky and oaky notes. On the palate, it is fruity, elegant, and balanced, with freshness, round tannins, discreet oak well integrated, and a long finish.
Its vinification includes approximately 18 days of extraction in an open tank and maturation in old French and American oak barrels for about 6 months, while it is bottled without treatment and filtration. It is an ideal choice for those seeking a distinctive Greek organic red wine with finesse and gastronomic character. It pairs beautifully with duck, oily oven-baked fish, grilled meats, game, mushrooms, truffle, and aged graviera cheeses.
