Clos Stegasta Rare Red T-Oinos

Clos Stegasta Rare Red Magnum is a dry red wine made from 100% Mavrotragano, with a deep, rare, and highly expressive character that showcases the impressive potential of the variety in Tinos. It comes from the terraces of the Rassonas vineyard and is vinified with whole berries and whole bunches in large oak casks, using indigenous yeasts from the estate’s own vineyards. On the nose, aromas of oriental spices, blackberry, and dark chocolate stand out, while on the palate it is vertical, structured, and full-bodied, with firm tannins, a rich yet vibrant texture, and a very long saline finish. Its maturation for around 18 months in 500-litre oak barrels adds even greater depth and ageing potential.
