Blanc de Blanc Brut by Domain Costa Lazaridi is a sparkling white wine from Drama that enters the glass with finesse, freshness and a festive attitude, without necessarily needing an occasion. Made from Vidiano, it shows a more unexpected and elegant side of the variety, with Domain Costa Lazaridi once again putting Drama on a creative wine path.
In the glass it has a light yellow colour with green highlights and fine bubbles. Its 24-month ageing with the yeasts in the bottle gives aromas of brioche and tsoureki, while lemon, citron, green apple and pear follow behind. Vidiano brings finesse and fruit, while the mountainous Katafyto gives intensity, freshness and a more mineral sensation.
On the palate it is dry, refreshing and elegant, with vibrant acidity, a refined texture and a long, fruity finish. Open it as an aperitif or put it next to shellfish, shrimps, sushi, smoked salmon, white cheeses or fried seafood bites. A sparkling wine that plays easily from welcome drink to proper pairing at the table.
