Aspros Lagos Red by Douloufakis Winery is a PGI Crete dry red wine made from 100% Cabernet Sauvignon, from the Aspros Lagos vineyard in Dafnes, Heraklion. It has a rich and full-bodied character, with aromas of black fruit, plum, spices, pepper, chocolate and subtle oak. On the palate it is robust and balanced, with firm yet well-crafted tannins, lovely concentration and a long finish. It pairs ideally with red meats, beef, lamb, game, dishes with rich sauces and mature cheeses.
