Fine Assyrtiko Anatolikos Vineyards is a refined organic white wine made from 100% Assyrtiko, dry in style, from Avdira, Thrace, which elegantly expresses the dynamics of the variety and the distinctive character of the coastal terroir of the region. It matures for 6 months in French oak barrels and is bottled unfiltered, preserving its authentic character.
In the glass, it shows a golden-blonde color with green highlights, while on the nose aromas of citrus, quince, honeycomb, yellow fruits, and flowers stand out, framed by subtle notes of vanilla and butter from the barrel.
On the palate, it is rich, balanced, and complex, with harmonious coexistence of fruit and oak, very good acidity, oily texture, and persistent length. It pairs beautifully with shellfish, oily fish, seafood, white meats, pork, pasta, salads, cured meats, and cheeses. It is best served at 9-12°C and its alcoholic strength is 14% vol.
