Gerovassiliou Viognier by Gerovassiliou Estate is a PGI Epanomi dry white wine, with a rich, aromatic and elegantly oaked character. The variety was planted at the estate in 1993 and gives here a highly expressive wine, with aromas of apricot, peach, ripe fruit and subtle smoky notes. Fermentation in French oak barrels and ageing on the lees add volume, creamy texture and a long finish. It pairs beautifully with rich fish dishes, seafood, poultry, pork with white sauces, spiced dishes and mature cheeses.
