Gerovassiliou Syrah by Gerovassiliou Estate is a PGI Epanomi dry red wine made from old estate-owned vines with low yields, showing an intense and deep character. On the nose, aromas of ripe plum, berry, red pepper and spices stand out, while ageing in French oak barrels gives it structure and complexity. On the palate it is rich, robust and well-built, with firm tannins and a long finish. It pairs excellently with red meats, game, lamb, spicy recipes and mature cheeses.
