Rossiu di Munte Giniets by Katogi Averoff is a limited-release dry red PGI Metsovo wine made from Cabernet Sauvignon, with a strong personality and important historical significance. It comes from a specific vineyard plot in Giniets, where the first Cabernet Sauvignon vines in Greece were planted. On the nose, the typical aromas of the variety dominate, accompanied by notes of leather, sweet spices, and coffee, while on the palate it is full-bodied, with rich tannins, structure, and excellent long-aging potential.
