Limnio Bio Anatolikos Vineyards is an expressive organic red wine made from 100% Limnio, dry in style, from Avdira, Xanthi in Thrace, which authentically highlights the distinctive character of the ancient Greek variety and the coastal terroir of the region. It comes from fully organic vineyards with sandy hills and granite subsoil, close to the sea.
In the glass, it shows a medium ruby color, while on the nose aromas of ripe red and black fruits, sweet spices, floral elements, and subtle earthy hints stand out. On the palate, it is balanced, elegant, and expressive, with soft tannins, pleasant acidity, and a long, complex finish.
Limnio Bio Anatolikos Vineyards is vinified with pre-fermentation cold extraction and long fermentation with native yeasts, matures for 12 months on fine lees in old oak barrels, is not filtered before bottling, and has an alcoholic strength of 14.5% vol. It pairs beautifully with white and red casserole meats, BBQ, game, wild mushrooms, cheeses, and cured meats.
