Nemea Terroir Papaioannou Vineyard is a PDO Nemea dry red wine made from 100% Agiorgitiko, with a rich and mature character. It comes from selected vineyards in Nemea and ages for 2 years in new oak barrels and 1 year in the bottle, gaining depth and complexity. On the nose, aromas of red fruit, cherry, chocolate, vanilla, nutmeg and sweet spices stand out. On the palate it is full-bodied, balanced and structured, with sweet tannins and a long finish. It pairs excellently with red meats, lamb, game, slow-cooked dishes with rich sauces and mature cheeses.
